What About?

Countdown is on.

Tomorrow we leave.

About one year ago, I had an idea my family loved.

Let’s sell all our stuff and travel the country.

Everyone said yes.

And then the…”What abouts?”  starting coming.

What about school?

What about soccer?

What about the couch?

As a family, we answered all the questions as they came….

Homeschool.

Guest play.

Sell it.

We sold everything we owned except what we could fit in the car.

We moved into my parent’s house for a few months.

And tomorrow, we leave.

There was an answer for every “What about?”

But it would’ve been easy not to answer them. To give up. To find the reasons it wouldn’t work.

I am so proud of myself and my family. We made it happen.

We had an idea and now we are living it.
